COVID 19 SAFETY GUIDELINES
In accordance with enhanced safety policies and procedures during the COVID-19 pandemic Optimise Wellness Centre has made some significant alterations to our daily operations to ensure we are following all government guidelines. Our priority is to keep all our customers and staff safe and prevent the spread COVID -19.
Takeaway Food and Shop
Face masks must be worn when inside the wellness centre, if you don't have one with you, you can purchase a disposable one from us for 50p. There is also a hand sanitising station situated at the entrance for customers use. There are seats provided for you to wait for your food order. Please ensure you maintain social distancing whilst moving around the shop and we would ask that you refrain from touching the the merchandise unless you wish to purchase it. The shop has been vastly expanded with over 20 different Himalayan Salt Lamps now available, a larger variety incense including backflow burners and cones plus larger dreamcatchers and much more.
Face masks must be worn when entering the building and can only be removed when you are seated to eat. If you leave the table for any reason your mask must be put back on. Only 2 households are permitted to sit together per table with a maximum of 6 at each table. We have extended the cafe into the yoga room to allow us to keep the same number of tables but have them further apart to adhere to social distancing, the cafe is a 1m social distancing zone. NHS Test and Protect is being utilised within the cafe and is now mandatory. This program has been put in place by the NHS to help trace anyone who could have come into contact unknowingly with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19. Cafe customers will be asked to provide their name and a contact number, this information will only be provided to the NHS if they request it and to no other party. It will only be held for 21 days and will then be destroyed.
Susan in now offering treatments again. A lot of new measures have been put in place to keep everyone safe. When an appointment is made you will receive an email detailing all the changes. A COVID -19 questionaire and disclaimer must be completed over the phone no more than 24 hrs prior to your appointment. Clients must wear masks during the treatment and Susan will be using PPE - mask, visor and apron. All sessions are now 45 minutes in length. The room is cleaned and disinfected after every client and fresh linen will be used as always.
Currently there are no classes available as our yoga studio is a bit too small. We are currently preparing a second premises at 65 Stirling Street Alva as a yoga studio for when classes are allowed to start up again.
